Jenny Lee: The Plastic Surgery Goddess
Jenny Lee has consistently been under the media spotlight for being a plastic surgery enthusiast. The sheer number of procedures she’s undergone is astonishing to most. Interestingly, her love of plastic surgery does not stem from unattractive natural features. In fact, she was once voted Most Beautiful Girl in school, years before her plastic surgery endeavors.
The Journey Begins
Jenny’s plastic surgery journeybegan in her early 20s with breast implants to please a less than complimentary husband. When one of the implants slipped, she not only had the implant repaired, but decided to have rhinoplasty done as well. These first procedures revealed her love of cosmetic surgery and a desire to completely remake her face and body.
Since the early years, Jenny Lee has tried almost every type of cosmetic surgery available. She is both an expert and guinea pig, educating herself about every different procedure, as well as warning people about the dangers of bad plastic surgery.
More Plastic Surgery
Much of Jenny Lee’s plastic surgery has been breast implants and nose modifications. She has also undergone liposuction on her hips, arms, thighs and stomach, as well as having a full body lift. In addition, her face has been altered by cheek implants, lip implants and a brow lift. However, the jury of her peers is still out on whether these procedures have made her more or less beautiful.
Body Dismorphic Disorder
What drives Jenny Lee to the knife again and again? Jenny Lee struggles with a condition called Body Dismorphic Disorder (BDD). It is more common than one might think and usually begins affecting people during the teenage years. BDD presents itself as a general dislike of some body part and develops into an obsession with looks. At its most dramatic, people with BDD believe that they look dramatically different than other people and refuse to go out in public.
For Jenny Lee, plastic surgery has been the means by which she deals with this disorder. However, it seems ironic that the more changes she makes to her face and body, the less like other people she actually looks!
Naturally, Jenny Lee has been the target of all types of criticism for her plastic surgery choices. In spite of this fact, she says that she will likely continue to reshape her body, changing and re-changing the features that she doesn’t like, trading them in for something new and more beautiful!
