Removing Wrinkles – How to Remove Wrinkles for Younger Looking Skin

Removing wrinkles is something that most people research as they start to get older. Some people have to deal with removing wrinkles at a younger age than others due to certain lifestyle choices such as smoking cigarettes. The market is full of products that claim to reduce or remove wrinkles. In this article I will outline 3 different ways to remove wrinkles for younger looking skin.

Removing Wrinkles – Tip #1 – Hydration

“We never know the worth of water till the well is dry.” – Thomas Fuller, MD, 1732

When it comes to removing wrinkles, reducing wrinkles, and even preventing wrinkles, water is your number one weapon. Water is a purifier and it helps your body flush the toxins that can end up on your skin. It is recommended that you drink 7-8 glasses of water a day in order to maintain healthy looking skin. Avoid drinking too much soda or alcohol as both of these will serve to dehydrate you and have a negative effect on your wrinkle removing goals.

Remember, if you are dehydrated then your skin will be dehydrated as well which will increase the likelihood that you will begin developing wrinkles.

Removing Wrinkles – Tip #2 – Moisturize Consistently

“Can you go now? I’m a half hour behind on my moisturizer routine, and I need to wake up early.” – Kurt from Glee

I know what you’re thinking. Is she really going to tell me that I need to moisturize? Doesn’t everyone already know that you have to moisturize to have healthy skin! Well, not necessarily, and it should definitely be re-iterated how important proper moisturization is for removing wrinkles. The key though is consistency! You should moisturize every night before you go to bed, and every morning when you wake up. No exceptions!

So what is the best moisturizer for removing wrinkles? That’s going to be a matter of opinion and what works for me might not necessarily work for you. I prefer to use Dermology because it contains just the right amount of Argirilene and Hyaluronic Acid.

Removing Wrinkles – Tip #3 – Exercise Your Face

“I really don’t think I need buns of steel.  I’d be happy with buns of cinnamon.”  – Ellen DeGeneres

Believe it or not, when it comes to removing wrinkles exercise is one of the best weapons in your arsenal. Now, I’m not talking about the “getting on the treadmill and running until I puke my guts out” kind of exercise though aerobic exercise IS great for the skin. I’m talking about exercising your facial muscles.

To tighten up your forehead, you should place your index finger just above your eyes and pull it down while trying to raise your eyebrows. To eliminate crow’s feet try raising your lower eyelids without moving your upper ones. You can also tighten your cheeks by pushing the lips out and making a round shape then stretching forward. You then smile as wide as you can for a second and then let it return to its original round shape. When it comes to the lip area, hide your teeth with your lips then make a small “O” shape while keeping the lips as tense and as wide as you possibly can.

You should do these exercises 15-20 times, 3 times a day. You should notice a difference after a few weeks.
